This detail shows the method of construction in a typical warehouse when using pre-cast concrete panels for the walls.
Note: The 'UB' Stanchion's footing is inderpendent to the infil slab that is usually poured at the end of construction.

Dipicted in these photos is the typical construction of a large portal framed commercial building constructed with tilt up pre-cast concrete slabs.

In photo's 1 and 2 you can see the 'UB' supporting the C-purlins holding up the roof as well as the safety mesh and the insulation. This is the standard roofing structure in industrial and alot of large commercial buildings.
In photo 3 you can the the pre-cast concrete panels on the outside rising up over the roofline, which makes the facade of the building very cleancut.
Photo 4 shows the conection of the 'UB' that spans across the building and holds the roof, joining to the pre-cast concrete wall.

this method of construction is very quick and cheap. that is why large stores such as this and others, Bunnings for example use pre-cast concrete panel construction.
